What is the difference between a “feral” and “friendly” cat?

A “feral” cat is a non-domesticated cat.  It can be any color and any breed (Siamese, etc.).  A feral cat is not going to want to be around you, get in your lap, or be petted.  A “friendly” cat would want to have your attention and might follow you to the house from the barn.  Do not worry about a feral cat attacking any child or other person.  Once they are released from their relocation cage, they will stay far away and you may not even see them.
